School management system for primary schools

A primary school management system has to work for one class teacher who does everything: the register, continuous assessment, behaviour notes and the end-of-term report. Safeticha gives that teacher a phone app for all four, gives the bursar fees per class, and gives the head a safeguarding view across the whole school.

Definition

What primary schools need that secondary schools do not

Primary pupils do not move between subject teachers, so the class teacher is the system's main user. Attendance, continuous assessment across every subject, behaviour and the termly report all come from one person, and the software should be built around that person's phone.

Pick-up safety matters more too. Safeticha's smart gate records who collected each child with a QR scan, and the safeguarding module lets any staff member log a concern that reaches the designated lead the same day.

How it works

Getting started

  1. 1

    Import what you have

Pupils, guardians, staff and classes from spreadsheets or scanned forms, with AI doing the typing.

  2. 2

Publish the term's fees and timetable

Fee structures per class, the timetable, and attendance sessions, in an afternoon.

  3. 3

    Invite parents and staff

Guardians get the Parent app invite by email; teachers get the school app. Both are free to them.

  4. 4

    Run the term

Attendance, results, fees, payroll and report cards from one place, with 40 days before the first charge.

Pricing

What it costs

Safeticha is priced per school, not per module. Payroll, fees, invoicing, receipts, report cards, attendance, CBT exams and safeguarding are all part of the same school plan, which is tiered by pupil count and starts at ₦37,500 a month.

New schools get a 10-day onboarding period and a further 30 days of use before the first charge, so the first bill lands on day 40. Billing is monthly from the school wallet with no lock-in contract.

School plans from

₦37,500 / month

  • All modules included, no per-module fees
  • Tiered by pupil count, not per user
  • 40 days before the first charge

Frequently asked questions

Can one teacher enter scores for all subjects in their class?

Yes. In a primary setup the class teacher is assigned to every subject in their class and enters all continuous assessment and exam scores from one gradebook.

Do you support nursery and early years classes?

Yes. Nursery classes have their own fee structures, attendance and observation records, and report cards suited to early years.

How do parents get the report card?

As a PDF in the Safeticha Parent app and by email when the school releases results, with a push notification.
