A Parent's Guide to Getting Started with Safeticha

Your child's school has joined Safeticha, and that means you can follow everything that matters in one place: when your child arrives at and leaves school, their results, fees, school messages and events. This short guide walks you through getting set up, step by step. It is free for parents, and you can use it on your phone or in any web browser.

Step 1: Create your account (or log in)

When your school adds you as a parent or guardian, Safeticha sends an onboarding email to the address the school registered for you. Look out for it, including your spam or promotions folder.

• New to Safeticha? Tap the link in the email, or visit safeticha.com and click Sign Up. Register using the same email address the school has for you, so your account links to your child automatically.
• Already have an account? Just log in. Your child's school will appear on its own, with no extra steps.

Once you are in, you are connected to your child's records right away. There is nothing to fill in or request from the school.

Step 2: Download the Safeticha Parent app

The app is the easiest way to stay in the loop, because you get alerts the moment something happens, such as when your child arrives at school. Get it on the Google Play Store by searching for Safeticha Parent, or from our download page.

The iPhone version is on the way. Until then, iPhone users can use Safeticha in any browser at safeticha.com, with the same features.

Step 3: See what you can do

Once you are signed in, here is what is waiting for you:

• Arrival and attendance: know when your child gets to school and when they leave, and see their attendance record.
• Results and progress: view scores and report cards as soon as the school publishes them.
• Fees: see a clear breakdown of what is owed, pay online from your phone, and keep your receipts.
• Messages: receive announcements from the school and reply where allowed.
• Events: keep up with the school calendar so you never miss an important date.

Common questions

The email used is not the one I use most. What do I do?

Ask the school to update your email address in their records. Once they do, sign up or log in with that address and everything will link up.

I have more than one child, or children in different schools.

That is fine. All of your children, across every Safeticha school, show up under the same account. You switch between them with a tap.

Does it cost anything?

Safeticha is free for parents. You only ever pay your school's own fees, which you can settle through the app.
